Darian's Heritage Bridal Session | San Angelo Wedding Photographer

Darian strode through the grass in the most beautiful powdered blue heals one minute and a pair of oversized black Crocs the next—the family Crocs, they told me, when I asked who they belonged to. When it comes down to it, I’m pretty sure Darian could wear a dress made out of large Target sacks and she would still look amazing (When did I get so funny?), but I will definitely take this INCREDIBLE modern, classic gown any day. Darian was simultaneously channeling all the Elizabeth Bennet + NYC skyscraper wedding vibes, and I am just seriously in love with her sweet spirit, warm smile, and impeccable taste.

Even past the family Crocs, this perfect bridal session was all about heritage.

Darian and I, along with her mama and sister, took our time wondering around the outside of her childhood home on their massive family ranch outside of San Angelo, Texas. We spent time walking through their front garden, listening to the whispering leaves underneath their willow tree, and ended by paying homage to some incredible heirlooms. The beautiful antique chair, as well as the real vintage fur at the end, have passed through the fingers of parents and grandparents, and were ready to serve Darian as she became a bride.

You must know that gives me all kinds of feels, friends.

Darian, you are beautiful inside and out. We are so excited to watch your family legacy unfold.

P.S. Be on the lookout for lots of beautiful wedding photography and wedding videography from Clint and Darian’s stunning winter wedding!… If you’re into that kind of thing—and let’s face it, if you’ve gotten all the way to the bottom, odds are you are. 😉
